I started streaming on Twitch in 2021, mostly to share my art and connect with people while I worked on illustrations. To make it feel more “me,” I created a small brand for the channel. My main visual was inspired by the girl in the lo-fi study playlist. I’ve always loved her, and I used lo-fi music all the time during my streams. But instead of studying, I was drawing (of course!).
I also designed custom emotes, subscriber badges, and pingucoins (the name I gave to my channel points) all to make the experience more playful and personal.
I haven’t streamed in a while, but it’s something I’d love to return to one day. It’s not off the table.
