Traditional Art

(Since 2015)

Although most of my current work is digital, I still enjoy using traditional techniques, especially gouache and watercolour. There’s something grounding about working with physical materials: the textures, the imperfections, the unpredictability of how paint and paper interact.
These mediums allow me to slow down and approach art from a different mindset. Unlike digital work, where undo is always an option, traditional painting encourages me to embrace mistakes and let them become part of the final piece.
It’s a practice in both control and letting go, and one that brings me a lot of joy.
