In 2023, Taylor Swift announced her Eras Tour dates in Mexico City, and I was lucky enough to get tickets for Night 3 (August 26th).
I was a fan of hers back in middle and high school, but I’ll admit I stopped keeping up with her newer music for a while... until Folklore came out in 2020. That album pulled me back in, and I found myself reconnecting with the feelings and memories her music brought over the years.
That’s what inspired me to start this personal project: I illustrated a version of each of her album covers. I turned them into stickers and gave them away at the concert, along with friendship bracelets. I even made custom t-shirts with my illustrations for the show.
What started as a fun creative project turned into something really special. I met so many other Swifties through it, and we still keep in touch in a group chat that’s very much alive. It reminded me how art and music can bring people together in the best, most unexpected ways.
