I love when the heat finally fades but it’s not freezing cold yet. It’s the perfect time for hot drinks, staying cozy indoors… and of course, spooky season!
Every October, there’s a popular challenge to draw with black ink every day. Last year, I decided to make it my own. Instead of working traditionally, I created a digital version with just three rules: black, white, and one extra color for contrast.
I used the challenge as a way to celebrate some of my favourite spooky films (and animated show, Over the Garden Wall counts as essential fall viewing in my book). While I didn’t draw one piece per day like the original challenge suggests, I was really happy with the results and the atmosphere I captured in each poster.
